Membership in the Society for Ultrastructural Pathology is open to anyone with an interest in electron microscopy, including pathologists and pathology trainees, Ph.D. electron microscopists, investigators, graduate students, technologists, and researchers working with or interested in learning electron microscopy techniques or cell structure identification.

The primary function of the Society is to provide increased opportunities for intellectual and social interchange between active practitioners of this craft. While the central focus of the Society is on electron microscopy, other special technologies that may have an impact upon or may interplay with the use of this tool, such as light and fluorescence microscopy, cryomicroscopy, and X-ray microanalysis, are of interest to its members. Membership entitles one to online articles and, depending on the level of support, a hard copy of the journal, as well as access to the website’s members-only page for discussion of cases and questions. For information on joining, contact the Treasurer at the address below.
